Shop for native plants, garden art, and hand-crafted nature-themed items at this special fundraiser for the Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour!
Native plants will be available for purchase at East Bay Wilds in Oakland, and at the Watershed Nursery in Richmond. See below for more information.
Oakland – East Bay Wilds is located at 2777 Foothill Blvd., Oakland (note that the entrance is on 28th Ave.)
Owner Pete Veilleux grows more than four hundred kinds of natives that are particularly beautiful, reliable, and hard to find. He also carries a wide selection of plants that he has found useful for specific landscape problem areas, such as plants to grow between pavers, or fast ground covers that can outpace weeds.
In addition to the plants, browse Pete’s extensive, eclectic collection of garden benches, tables, chairs, statues, planters, antiques, and tchotchkes available at great prices. East Bay Wilds is not normally open to the public, so don’t miss this opportunity to bring home garden art and native plants that are just right for your garden!
Bird vs Bird Designs will also be on hand, selling
hand-crafted notecards, coasters, magnets and pins, pouches, wallets, and illustrations for bird watchers and nature lovers.

The Watershed Nursery is a local business specializing in growing hundreds of species of native Californian plants, and dedicated to improving habitat from your backyard to the Bay. Peruse the hand-made mosaics created by garden tour host Kathleen McCabe-Martin, and also peruse nature-themed note cards and prints created by local, award-winning photographer Alan Krakauer.
